Impressed with its design, clarity, and quality of sound production, following months of planning and market research, the audio experts at Flair decided to go for d&b audiotecknik’s Y-Series.
Their purchase included eight Y8s, four Y12s, four point sources, eight Y subs, eight D80s, and eight M4 monitors. In addition, the crew received one of the region’s first DiGiCo S31 desks, the latest console in the S Series. “With all of this new kit, our audio engineers needed an innovative console with increased functionality and accessibility to really utilise the speakers’ potential.” Said Flair’s Managing Partner, Sameer Rahman.
Since arriving at the Flair warehouses, the kit has been on a number of events, including the MENA Effie Awards, as well as private social events, a Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performance, and has been scheduled for many more projects during the remainder of the season.
